Splicing Equipment

The CAE Splicing Machine splices two ends of the same profile together. This is accomplished by placing each end of the part in a two-piece tool. A small, thin "green" rubber strip is placed in between. With pressure and heat, the ends are molded together. We've even made angular splices. Most of our splicing machines have two splicing units per frame. This arrangement maximizes operator efficiency and saves costs of control systems.
